Golfing in Indonesia

As part of our hotel deal in Jakarta, we get free golf. So we went and played 9 holes on Sunday. We got to use a caddy, this was my first time...I felt like Tiger Woods, holding my driver as I walked down the tee-box, with the caddy nearby. The rented clubs were quite interesting. We believe that each caddy had their own set and this is what we used. We actually paid for used balls to play with. I havent hit a metal shafted driver in some time. Yet, the irons were all graphite. Someone else had a stainless steel driver. Some had duct-taped grips. It was pretty crazy.

At one point I asked for a 3-iron and the guy said "no, use a 4-iron"....I hit it sweet, but it landed 15 yards short of the green...I tryed to explain why I asked for a 3-iron. It wasnt until the par three when I insisted on a 3-iron, that he admitted that his bag of clubs didnt have a 3...and he borrowed from his fellow caddy. It was a fun and weird experience. Here is a picture of Romley.
